ANDY EWEN

When Jim moved to Madison in 1991 to work on his doctorate in music at UW, amazing guitarist Andy Ewen became one of his first new friends.  They began playing blues/rock together as the Jim Schwall Band, pushing each other to ridiculous heights of musical creativity. 

Andy has played with a wide variety of Madison musicians over the years, but is best known as the songwriter and guitarist of another legendary band, Honor Among Thieves.  Jim and Andy are both associated with Madison’s Uvulittle Records, and you can learn more about Andy at::  www.uvulittle.com/artists.php?search=Andy%20Ewen
